Story

'Caravan Me Happy'

'Caravan Me Happy' is inspired by childhood summer holidays, when they days are long and time stands still. Long journeys to national parks, ice creams after a long hot day and the sweetness of sleep as you drift away in your caravan – safe and sound.

At Little Green Room, we are inspired by great design and believe that kids are stimulated by the spaces that they play in.  We use sustainable materials because we want to be a part of the solution to keep our planet happy and healthy for our kids to enjoy now and into the future.

Little Green Room is really proud to be helping Kids Under Cover raise much needed funds to help prevent youth homelessness.

The 2014 cubby houses will be on display at the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show from March 26 to 30.

    Kids Under Cover

Being homeless can happen to anyone.

On any given night, there are more than 116,000 people experiencing homelessness in Australia and nearly half of these are under the age of 25.*

For more than 30 years, Kids Under Cover has been working to prevent youth homelessness.

We know that if young people are not properly supported when they first experience homelessness, they have a higher chance of becoming homeless in their adult lives. Around 40% of homeless adults were first homeless as young people.**

In our work, we focus on early identification and prevention of youth homelessness, creating a proactive rather than a reactive approach to this very complex issue. We do this by building homes and providing scholarships for homeless and at-risk young people.
